Rebellion is the act of existing, succeeding in a body societally deemed inadequate, societally declared inferior. It is evoked by the societal constraints set upon women and non-binary individuals. Our existence pushes back against the patriarchal society we were born into, making our being here an act of rebellion.

To not be a man is in itself an act of rebellion.
